FS: Cheaper Alternative to 1917 & Vickers Steam Condensing C

Post by Fishpaw »

I just found a place that has a bunch of these european surplus gas cans that resemble a 1917 steam can. It also resembles the Vickers steam can as well. It measures 8 1/2 inches wide, 6 inches deep and 13 inches tall. There are 2 caps instead of one, and the handle is thicker and fixed. The caps are brass. The larger one has a chain and a rod attached so that it cannot be lost from the can. The smaller cap has an air hole that is exposed when it is unscrewed slightly. There is also a pouring lip on the larger cap. I just got all of these that they had left. The price came out a bit higher than I had originally thought as I didnt add in the shipping for them. They are $65 each, which includes shipping and delivery confirmation. I also have a few in the white that are slightly different. They dont have the pouring lip, the handle is diagonal, and the chain for the cap is on the outside of the can. Same price for either. IM me for payment details.
