Ruptured Case Extractor - WWII production

Post by JBaum »

An original WWII German ruptured case extractor. "hoz" and eagle marked. Used to remove ruptured cases from the MG42 barrel. The MG34 ruptured case extractor does not have the grooves at the ends of the pins, and does not properly fit the MG42 barrel. One end is used to remove a case when the base is torn off, and the other end can grip the cartridge base if it is still present. A tool you don't need until you need it, and then you REALLY need it. 3 for sale, $100 + postage each.

MG34 Ruptured case extractor

Post by JBaum »

Norwegian manufacture, identical to German WWII but without 3 letter manufacturer's code and eagle proof mark. Parkerized finish instead of blue like the Germans used. Very nice with minimum wear.

The MG34 tools have the pins in different locations compared to the MG42 tools for use with the MG34 barrel. They are not interchangeable. Most easily distinguished from the MG42 tool by the lack of grooves on the pins. Double click on the picture to see a closer view.
$45 including first class postage to US addresses.

I have 2 left, one has some pitting and will sell for $85 plus postage instead of $100. Still fully functional, just not as pretty. The rest of the tool is like the others, this is the bad spot in the picture. It does not affect the use, just the looks.
