That tall shaft on the right kind of looks a little like the end of the 34-barrel?? Maybe some form of gauge for the 34-barrel shroud, just a crazy intoxicated guess. :P

this thing is for repairing the MG42 receiver, so sayeth my bud in germany. We could use this, could be handy. It is in germany and is about $90.00, any takers, pm me.

AHA !!!
Now that you said that kraut... I can see the far right tube has some guides attached
on the sides just like a bolt. I bet the reciever rails slide over the top of that for guaging.
So, what does the rest of it do?

The best I can translate from the Chest is that it is "a weapons repair tool kit". One of the words I can't make out real good and I don't know what it is. maybe John Baum can comment.

and the other part repairs the receiver. Problem is shipping is over 300 euros!!! :shock:
