Nice Family Photo!
Nice Family Photo!
Glad to see the photos and hear that you are happy with it.
I don't know to much about this.... What a statement... But I would think about tring again to removing that dent by doing what JBraum said but heating the area first then apply lots of force...
Good Luck on cleaning the flash hider... Try soaking it then wire brush in a variable speed drill..
Enjoy the new family member...

Re: My m53
When I hear talk of cleaning on the 1919a4 website they normally don't talk about using a dremel tool. I think that you just might burn out a dremel tool. Try using low speed with a regular drill. Also brass brush so you don't hurt the steel.
Anyone else have any ideas on dent removal ... I have a barrel shroud that looks close to that one just the dent was done with an incoming bullet. For those other type of folks you can tell them that.
Did you get the optic with the g3 tripod??? If not there is a fellow on GB that sells a mount (I bought one, about $25.) that you can use to mount a regular style scope on the tripod. If you want one that is.

Re: My m53
yes the tripod came with optics. was my 2nd rtg excellent tripod. last one I got for my mg34 (now sold)could tell seen alot of use with pad, early model, but leg paint was immaculate. this ones def a late model, new cradel springs, pads, ect, just legs scratched to hell from careless storage.
waiting for Jbaum to get back to me, as I want to buy his manual on how to use the optics.
