I am estimating around $1000 maybe a little more but probly less, kit, new trigger sear, grip mods , bolt mods, welding,+ tripod and extras make the price go up, you know the same as the 1919a4 untill we start getting them running and the accesories skyrocket

Seems to be a lot of familiar names around. I guess when you say "bet ya can't shoot just one" it refers to more than just a "round" from your beltfed :D

I'm here. Been waiting for a 42 site ever since MG-42.com went down. That must have been a couple of years ago.

I have been watching this board and 1919a4. All of you will have fun building the 42. Ran a hundred rounds in the BMG and my 42 with a buddy today. Wish the ammo were cheap, but I don't think it will get any better. LOL to all.

..Yeah , you caught me !! But I think you've seen me everywhere asking all kinds of rediculous questions. No kit either, but I just filled out a form from this website for a group purchase (waiting for response).
I too feel this site will go well. The layout of 1919.com really spoiled me though........

MISTER DEUCE from 1919a4 in the house.

To confirm a rumor, yes, MG34-4-ME is the German alter ego of 1919-4-ME. I guess he suffers from the same disease as the rest of us. We just like cool stuff. Now, if he could only get his TNW to run...

I have my 8mm parts kit and some good receivers on their way. Will be making dual PRK-legal semis. Now I need to find another 8mm parts kit.

The accessories for the MG42 are really cool. I already have a couple HK post war lafettes and a DISA. I have a new AA dual mount coming by truckl. I think I'm going to need a bigger boat. ;)
