Help with MG Bunkers etc

Post by MarkFinneran »

Chaps - desperately need your help/expertise please?
Could you either post on this site or send me some images I can use for a (power point) presentation?

I need images please of:
1. German dug out, untouched - to show how good the construction was.
2. German dug out but as machine gun emplacement.
3. MG08 in action.
4. MG08/15 in use.
5. MG08 crew undergoing training or drills.
6. Destroyed or damaged MG crew/shell crater or trench.

Huge thanks for any help.

Mark

No gun here, but he was obviously a team member, look at the pile of empties! He is also wearing a gas mask, looks like.I will be going over to my parents house later this week, there is a box containing thousands of WWI pictures that I will be sorting and scanning. Not sure who took them, from British side.Been in the family for years though.I will post the good ones. ---bil
