WISE Lite Grip Stick Question

Post by zb-30 »

I'm looking at a grip stick for my build, I am leaning towards the Wise Lite Grip stick, they say you just have to add the grips and the safety.

What I can't figure out from the pictures on their website, is how the safety will work once you add it. I don't see any kind of part that goes from where the safety is to stop the trigger. Is the safety on a wise lite grip just cosmetic???

If I want a working safety do I need to go with the BRP grip stick instead?

There will need to be a bit of material added to the tail of the AR-15 trigger to make contact with the safety. So the answer is no it is not as simple as adding the panels and safety parts. Once the modifications are made the safety is fully functional. The WLA unit is as good as the next so the choice is yours. I personally modified the original grip a bit to fit FAL parts. I too will need to add a piece of material to contact the safety bar to make it work. It seems to work fine, but further testing and evaluation is required.
