hi guys
Ive been in the shop thrashing away at my brp rear half's and i have got to the point of welding the rear half to the front.. i think. The buffer tabs are in, the grip mount is welded on and all the openings are cut. So should i drill the for the rails or should i weld (front to the rear) then put the rails in so i can line them up with the cam and get that perfect?? and i could find the post or pics about where to run a string ling to check for straightens?
thanks
miles

What i did was welded the rear and front, installed the cam thing, and then I put in the barrel bushing + barrel. Lastly came the rails, i made up a simple wooden device that sat in the bore of my barrel and extended outwards to rails (which held them aligned so i could clamp them and weld).
