I got my M53 kit today!

Well, I finally took the plunge and bought my M53 kit. I was waiting to finish my 1919a4 and test it to order the new kit. Since the 1919 is finished and works very well, it's time to get started on something new. This will be my first mg42 type build, and I also ordered the Coldsteel 80% receiver and a wla barrel bushing. My one question at this point is there seems to be two different styles of ratchet plates, new and old styles. Which would be correct for this build? Thanks in advance, Josh

From what I hear, you need the one with the dog leg. Which I'm led to believe is the new style.
