Any MG42 builders out there?

Howdy! May have found a deal on an actual MG42 kit (1943). There's also an aftermarket semi fcg, new receiver, new barrel and some spare parts. I have a WLA M53 (both 8mm and 308 conversions) and love it. I think the kit can be had for a decent price. Just don't have the time or the welding skills to do the build.

Is there someone out there that does the builds? (for a fair price)?

Anybody? Found a few people who can weld but have never welded a firearm. There's gotta be someone out there that does builds.

Thought comes to my mind that you should ask about the person that just did the reweld on this one.

At this point in time I think that a lot of the class 7 ffl builders are busy doing other things, mg42's are hard builds and they are doing as many as the quick and easy ones as they can get done at.

Did you ask about the person that did the above listed build?

Or you can follow some of the build threads on this website and learn how to weld and work on it yourself.
