Re: Ammo belts, lot of 50

csxcobra: Your lot will be in the mail today! RichardS: You might wanna save those shopping bags I used for wrapping! Bil is secretly collecting Norwegian Household items (just ask him about that egg-carton!) He might pay a premium for those  Still a few lots left, but stocks are dwindling........

Re: Patronentrommel 34 pictures wanted!

Excellent work Ed!
Just what I needed. I have only found pictures showing the PT34 in the AA-role use so far! This adds a few dimensions.
Note the picture with the bull-neck officer! He has his line of sight through the handle, as it has folded down again as it is supposed to do!

Re: Patronentrommel 34 pictures wanted!

Yeah, strangely enough, it appears so! The early manuals are full of them, but so far I have only found two pictures of the drums in actual use. But given the fact that it actually was a issue item used by the troops there should be SOME pictures out there! Oh well, will still use a few more days to...

Re: Ammo belts, lot of 50

All correct, but that was probably why the German postwar army made a product improvement and invented the hooked tab! Although it takes a little more brainpower to attach it doesn't snag so easily when shooting!
Even Bil can manage that Darius!

Re: Warning....repro panzer mounts

....and Amen to that! Well said Artie, and I wholeheartedly agree whit you! Why they both lack the front sight? My guess is that the Sarco ones at one stage came with the parts installed but were "canibalized" for the standard parts, as they themselves couldn't be used as-is. The French copies do no...
