Hi again there!

Strictly not on topic, but yeah! I still have the MG34 inventory. Send me a PM and we can work it out!

HOW they actually managed to ship their equipment (and I mean all the stuff they actually manufactured) from the factories to the front line beats me. I would THINK that they used larger crates for the gun exports, as that would have been a little more convenient than 1 box each. The only stuff I ca...

Looks pritty "new-made" to me! WYSIWYG text with no explanations. Sorry, but this one smells of rat!

Seems to be some confusion going on about the Portuguese transit boxes! The boxes are in fact just that! They are Portuguese made, and NOT German WW2 manufacture. The Germans never made a transport box themselves for the MG34 or MG42.

Just remember that your dealing with IMA! To name the item "MG42 spent cartridge catcher" is a dubious use of words! The item in question was made for the Yugo M53, and was never made as an accessory for the MG42. As a surplus item from Yugo, I think it is expensive!

Yepp. What really puzzles me is that someone has got the finances to put an aircraft on display, but misses on a simple mg!

Can anyone offer up a good explanation for the aircraft sights!? Sometimes the aiming post and the waffle is shown with places traded (rear sight and front sight change places!)

Hi again Richard!

I think (from what I can gather) that they are reffering to pictures that are no longer there!

BUT! Take a look at the first picture again. It actually shows a MG34 (missing the buffer assy) mounted in a aircraft hull. That must be a "misunderstanding" at the best!

Yeah! :D

I have a double set of yellow lenses. If someone out there has a double set of red lenses for the MGz34 I would love to make a trade!

My virgin posting here, as I entered this boat today! The first can in this thread is from the Portuguese export contract. Typical German feel and texture to paintwork, but strange dark-olive un-German color. WaA present, but manufacturer markings lacking! Leather work in place. Most of these cans a...
