Re: MG42 Reweld Service

Sooooo, you do the repair bushing along with the rest of the parts! It was not real clear to me, so do you also aline everything up from bushing back to the rear of the receiver, even a coldsteel??? If so I had better get in gear and order one!! THANKS! Rod (carlque)

If your receiver is 80% (or less) you do not have to worry about ATF. If you use a design simular to others such as BRP or cold-steel, etc you should be just fine. If anyone knows different, PLEASE speak up! THANKS! Rod (dellque, alias carlque).

IT FELL TOGETHER!! That's amazing! I wish you had taken pics while you were building it!! I don't see where you used the angle iron. Did you fabricate the section between the rear receiver and the front shroud? Rod

I can't believe that no one replied to this!! I would think think a shorty MG34 OR MG42 would be fairly popular! The 1919a4/a6 shorties are fairly common! I have a shorty 1919a4, and i love it!! I would love to have a shorty 34 or 42! A regular over on weaponeer.net forums has a shorty mg42! You are...
