Re: Want to know what Wiselite semi-receiver is worth
I have a complete M53 kit with the shroud that is not welded to the numbered Wiselite receiver and a new barrel that needs to be head spaced or a VG plus issued Yugo barrel. The kit has almost all of the semi-auto parts needed to complete. Bolt has to have extension on it. I am not interested in jus...

Just checked their web page and did not see anything on the Generation 3 receivers, would be interesting to see the difference between the Generation 2 and 3. Harry

Re: MG blew up in my face! Need help
Reminder that I asked if you had tried using steel cased ammo as it seems to work better in all of my guns, both MG34's and MG42's. Harry

Want to know what Wiselite semi-receiver is worth
I am trying to get an idea of what a M53 Wiselite serial numbered receiver is worth. I have a M52 with most of the semi-auto parts and the receiver that I may be selling but do not have a good idea of what they are going for . Thanks Harry

Re: MG blew up in my face! Need help
Funny that the German Wehrmacht and the modern day Bundeswehr issued a tool called a Werkzeugpatrone (which is a go/no go gauge) along with Stahlpatrone (chamber gauges) to their Waffenmeister for the MG42. So I find it hard to believe that you think that the go/no gauge has no use in an MG42. They ...

Re: MG blew up in my face! Need help
If you will go back to my original post and the second one I sent you I noted that there was nothing wrong with your head space the problem is that camber on the end of the barrel. From the photographs you attached you can see the ring at the base of the cartridges, as well as on the separation of t...

Re: MG blew up in my face! Need help
I looked at all five of my MG42's and one M53 barrels. I have one Austrian 7.62x51 NATO conversion units along with six spare barrels in 7.92x57 mm WWII German barrels and two Israeli 7.92x57 mm chrome lined barrels and NONE of them have the barrel so deeply countersunk. I do not think there is a pr...

Re: MG blew up in my face! Need help
Why in the world is the end of the barrel chambered so deep? There is no way that the case can be supported by the bolt so you have the end of the cartridge hanging out there with no support. Take a look at the chamber at the end of your Yugo barrel to see what I mean. DO NOT SHOOT your gun with tha...

Re: TNW MG34 wont fire with trigger, striker releases on unlock
Did you check the release bar that works off the trigger to insure that the two rollers are intact? If the pin on one of the roller comes out then the bar cannot release the firing pin sear on the bolt.Harry

Re: MG34 to MG3 Lafette trigger problem need help.
I think the red deflector piece should be removed after watching several films of the MG3 being shot off of the tripod by Bundeswehr Soldiers. All of those tripods had the deflector piece removed. I will dig the manual out and verify. Thanks Harry

Re: bolt carrier and semi sear problem
I had them do three bolt conversions a couple of years ago so I would have an extra for each gun and in looking at them each one is a bit different at the rear. I have to go to an appointment but if I get a chance later (meaning remember) I will take some photographs of them. Harry
