It's a real shame that it did not survive out of the ground because it would be a nice and rare find.
I expect the search fire and traversing parts rusted away because they were normally not painted.

I guess you are referring to item 320473061958 which appears to be a ground dug Lafette 42 that is missing the search fire assembly as well as the traversing sector. OK for a display but little else. For sure not a Lafette 34.

This tripod needs a new home - I'll eat shipping and reduce the price.....

I have decided to sell this as I simply don't have time to work on it. The bolt has been converted and the receiver has had the cams and barrel shroud pivot pin installed by TNW.
