this shot shows the area on the inside of the rec scrap that must be filled BEFORE rejoining any of the pieces to prevent an unmodified FA bolt from being inserted into the rec.

Glad i found this thread, both my parts sets from mg34.com have 9.5 mm boosters.

I do remeber the .308 bbls from Ohio, was the 34 produced in .308? Century has the israeli bipods for $30 on their FAC site, I bought one a couple of months ago and its really neat

I used an aluminum bar that fills the bolt chanel and a brass rod to fill the deep spring hole on my reweld for semi build , I just used the filler bar to keep tons of filler material from filling the inside of the receiver and not as the rigid part that keeps everything straight. for precise alignm...
