your bushing needed tapped out? what are you trying to tell? i don't get it. your bolt ex. is also cracked, cracked were, at the joined portion of bolt ex.or longitudinal -down it's axis. think this through & better explain yourself. not being a smart a-- , i'm just not on the same page with you.

42rock, no i did'nt weld the holes and start over-- this is blankfrom WLA , i got this from them about 6 years ago, bought a few just to have around. it was just the two sides, nothing marked , i did all the cut outs myself and welded it together.used brand new rails which were not drilled as well. ...

the time to make this was'nt time consuming, i said,i didnt like the bolt type system and never did. working between the rails with fingers and a wrench does'nt cut it with me. this worked well for me, you don't need to mill, use a grinding wheeling on the nuts or a dremal tool on the tab spots. did...

Use 5/8 x 1/2 bar stock Mill out for tabs in rails and drill holes for button head rivets to seat. Install rivets and bar stock on both sides and c-clamp in place - measure at 4 points between the bar stock, use nuts milled to noticably tight at locations between bar stock - use bolts with washers a...

told myself -- no more m53 builds but, just had to do one more. i never liked the threaded expander type system,bolt heads drilled for seating--you get the picture. i made something that works so much easier,especial if your doing more than one build. i was going to do the rivets in this build tonig...

your up against a lot of timing issuses which are critical in any short-recoil operation, which i'm sure, your fully aware of. bolt bounce will come into play for one with an increase in ROF. be sure your locks on the cams are in new condition, bad cam locks magnify bolt problems. weapon functioning...
