Re: Breda 30

jbaum, There was an individual that posted on GunBrokerAuctions that had a Breda-30. Possibly there.....or two other sources that may help: Bob-Landis of Ohio Ordnance (?). The people up at what use to be LongMountainOutfitters (?). Possibly the French-MG-Board (?)......they talk about other MGs bes...

Re: MG42 Booster Cone

Hello again Daniele, What you are calling a "Barrel-Guide", I am guessing is the Barrel-Bearing.......this came in two different length (not hole-sizes). The longer Barrel-Bearing held the pressure inside the Booster-Cup/"Nozzle" a split-second longer than the shorter Barrel-Bearing. The Booster-Cup...

Re: MG42 Booster Cone

Hello again Daniele, I will post a couple of photos of MG42 Barrel-Bearings and MG42 Booster-Cups/"Nozzles" from the French MG-Board located at: http://mg34mg42.forumactif.org As the photos show.....some of the earlier MG42 parts were "inspected" and "stamped". Also note that there are two (2) diffe...

Re: MG42 Booster Cone

Hello Daniele, The photos that you posted are of a standard MG42 Booster-Cup/"Nozzle".......it may or may not be WWII. If of WWII manufacture, it was later marked/engraved with the weapon serial-number. As to your second question, the numbers engraved on this part seem to be of "Post-War" design.......

Re: WTS/WTT: MG42 2 piece blank barrel 308, Nazi marked

Jaredrlewman, .....this MG42 Blank-Barrel-Assembly is not made correctly and is not WWII German. It appears made of some WWII German Barrel-Parts. Without the flair on the rear of the barrel-section (which allows the "Barrel-Stop" riveted to the receiver under the rear-sight to stop the forward move...

Re: WTB: New old stock MG34 bolt

I would guess what you are looking for is an "un-numbered" "Armorers" Bolt-Assembly (?).....as would be found in one of the MG34 Parts-Can (?).

What would one be worth now if one could be found (?).

Bpalls86, First....thank you for your service to our country. After working with reenactors.....and making "Blanks" for over 20-years (after 20+ years in the US Army/Retired).........I would suggest that you do a couple of things first. 1: Review the "designs" used in the "BFONG's" (Chuck's original...

Re: Mg 42 Lafette on ebay

What is really sad.........is that I have been offered a few of these WWII Tripods from England (where the "shop-owners" believe that even with the weld-lines on that front weapon-mount, that the "shop-owners" say nothing is wrong...."it's all WWII German"! ). I was even offered an Austrian MG42 Bol...

Re: Mg 42 Lafette on ebay

Hello Bergflak, Thank you for the "link" to that MG42 Lafette on E-Bay. My thoughts are that this is an attempt to pass a "Yugo" Tripod off as WWII German (?)......as evident by the front and rear weapon mounting-brackets.....the "D-Rings", and some of the markings do not look correct. But you have ...

Re: WTB Yugo Gurtfuller 34 Table Clamp

maxfaxdude, I believe that the "issue" that you will incounter is that these Belt-Loaders" usually are usually sold as complete units (IE: Acomplete Belt-Loader with Table-Clamp)...........and for someone to sell off their "Table-Clamp" from their unit will make their Belt-Loader not complete (unusa...
