Re: MG13 semi trial run
Why would you modify the recoil spring? ? I have a few semi auto my-13s and never had to do this. I shoot all kinds of ammo threw mine. Something just doesn't sound right. How easy does does it cycle? I compare mine to a 22. It has a very light cycle and trigger pull. Out of all my toys myg-13s are ...

Re: MG34 bipods
I totally agree with Matt. Matter of fact I also have a MG-13 bi-pod that was a converted MG-34. A standered MG-34 bi-pod won't lock on the MG-13 correctly but a MG-13 bi-pod will work on a MG-34. The thought of using the bi-pod of ambushes is kind of funny. The tripod does not like to be used this ...

Re: how hard would this be to reweld... saw cut
I have filled larger gaps than that on some of my builds using a Mig Welder. It is possible. First you need to be a good welder to have safe/ strong welds with good penetration and fill. Second, you need a very good jig that has excellent heat displacement. I make all my jigs out of solid brass. Onc...

Re: Looking for MG42/M53 barrels
I have them. Lots of them. Very nice bores in barrel carriers. I was going to start listing them on GB . I'm not sure of the value. I think $400 for the carrier and two barrels. These are post war barrels.

As you can see from this pic, I didn't fall of the wagon. But times are hard, I had to put our faithful horse Gertrude down and use him for meat and dismantle the wagon for fire wood

3 MG42 BNZ 1943 marked rear receivers
I am selling the rest of my receivers because of necessity rather than choice. I was saving these. I have 3 very very nice 1943 BNZ marked rear receivers. I want $450 for them. I will be listing them on GB for $500 later in the week. I will post some pics on Monday.
