Re: Bolt Blocker stud location *For Reweld

you want the bolt blocker welded in place not riveted, not welded to a piece riveted in place.

Weld the bracket to the reciever as well.

Re: wise lite semi auto inch longer?

clear questions get clear answers. 1) The spring was shortened to make up the space for the bolt extension. There is no need to extend the receiver, plenty of rewelded guns running the standard length. 2) Yes, But the ejection port can't be moved back as well. You would need to extend the buffer nos...

Re: wise lite semi auto inch longer?

Wiselite would be the only one to answer definitively why they picked 1" longer for their receiver. My speculation is ... That was as long as they could make the receiver and still get it to fit the ground tripod. Plus if they'd made it 3" longer it would have been MUCH more noticeable and made the ...

file front of rail. Small gap between cam piece and rail is preferable to butt-tight.

Re: Mg42 Buttstocks

any buffer should fit any reciever.
buffer & stock combos fit along production lines german to german - yugo to yugo.
A mismatched combo will fit togther poorly but should work for short term, testing, or a hoard of zombies emergency

I've run some of that Pakistani surplus before... its very not good. Had deep/shallow primers , OAL was all over the place.
Try some fresh commercial ammo.

Re: Roller locked vs rotating bolts.

HK33 is already a nice commonly available 5.56X45MM roller- delayed rifle. If your looking to work with a roller locked system I'd suggest a modern high cap handgun based off the CZ52. My idea is a roller locked high cap pistol, firing a high velocity powerful cartridge that other modern pistol mode...

Re: firing pin question

For a two piece set-up using an original front pin, .44" from the start of the rear pin to the start of the collar or stop that touches the rear of the striker.

For a one piece set-up we'd need to get the length of the original pin. I'm sorry i can't dig out my stuff right now.

Re: Mg.42 semi auto

Its not that simple of a conversion in the U.S. either, but IDing which parts need to be altered for function is easy. How to interpret the laws of different countries is beyond the scope of advice I'd trust from the internet. Suggestions on whats worked and what hasn't once you understand your laws...
