MG carrying handle identification help

Hi,
Doing some cleaning I found this carrying handle.
Can someone identify what weapons it is for? The only markings present are the letters logo T and C and 8.8 on the nut.
Any idea ?
Thanks in advance !

Re: Portuguese MG34 ?

This MG has also the last two digitgs stamped in the front of the pistol grip.
With regard to the barrel, it has a lot of markings.
Note the 4825 stamped under the dfb 41 and two WaA and above another number crossed out.

Thanks,

Portuguese MG34 ?

Hi, I had seen a deactivated MG34 that seems to be a Portuguese Metralhadora M/944. It’s a dot 1943 and 100 % number matching with wood buttstock, otherwise I think it's re-blued. The cover shows the markings “Konstruktion Rheinmetall-Borsig” but without any year or contract number (except the...

Re: Gurtfuller 37(t) ??

Germany sold in 1941-42 some ZB.26/30, ZB.37 and ZB.60 machine guns to Spain as military aid. They used them until the fifties. I think this is the reason because still you can find in Spain gurtfullers, AA sights, belts, ... for the ZB.37. I enclose a picture of an original ZB.37 belt. :) gurtzb-37...

Re: How much WWII German Surplus in Russia (?).

Hi, Last year I brought an MP44 coming from Russia ! It was through a German importer. At firts I was sceptical because I know the K98 coming from Russia and are very re-worked weapons. But when I took it, I was very happy with it. It is a mismatched MP44 (some number coincide) but all the pieces ar...
