Date and code are also a factor on the price. Earlier guns tend to demand a higher price. Then you get into refinished and original finish. It all depends on whether or not you are looking at the purchase as a shooter or a collector.

I have recently had strong second thoughts about buying from Allegheny again after the piece of crap MG34 butt stock they sent to me. I could not tell with all the grease on it how bad it was until I had cleaned it. Had I know before hand I would have boxed it up and sent it back the very same day.

Sort of makes me wonder what all those unopened original boxes of Kurz I have are worth. :D

I am slowly getting into the buying mood, would you mind telling me if that mount was bought from one of the dealers normally mentioned on here? Not sure who to buy one from.

Thanks

MG42 DFB code Serial Number 8356f

This is truly a shot in the dark. Any one on the list own or know of MG42 dfb code serial number 8356f?

I owned this MG42 until 1987 when I traded it for other toys and I was curious as to what had happened to it. Thought someone on here might be the current owner.

Thanks
