I've only had a problem w/ length....if it's too wide to fit in the bolt slot how much do you need to thin on each side of the trigger gate half moon? If that is the problem? One other thought might be to get a spring with fewer coils for the trigger gate??? Perhaps the spring is bottoming out not l...

Yes, this is just a small plate for a "bearing area" for the spring on the trigger gate. I have a seperate blocker in the underside of the receiver which was just a piece of small bar stock inserted into the holding area for the FA parts and welded into place. Not bad, but if it were me I'd try to get some small receiver scrap bits from someone here on the forum, etc...... wedge 'em in tight on the jig and weld em in, bevel them for good weld penetration....it can be a little tedious grinding down and fitting in the filler pieces, but IMO it's worth it......
