The semi bolt fom BRP is very nice and well worth the $150 he charges the home builder to swap bolt assemblies, I have over 3k rds one one of his bolt assemblies with zero problems although a few folks have had broken firing pins. The firing pins I bought from BRP look great, 1 piece , nicely heatre...

A few pics of my semi bolt conversion

Just a few pics and description of how I modify the original bolt for semi 42 build, nothing new or ground breaking, same basic method BRP has been using for the past 3-4 years , but thought I would share anyway http://www.thompsonmachine.net/42bolt.htm

you got one heck of a deal on that tripod, I just thought it was odd the seller would admit to having built an illegal machine gun, sent the guy a picture, and then told him he was going to turn him in to the feds for receiving contraband

he posted on another group last night(38 times) that both those parts sets he sold on gbroker had been assembled into illegal machineguns and that he was going to turn one of the buyers into ATF for receiving a parts set that he knew had been assembled illegaly into a working MG, I guess the fellow ...

I did not make the brazed stack like the original end as I wanted as much active spring as possible, I just hit my spring with the mig welder right were I wanted it cut, it joined the twisted pair and severed the spring all in one shot, then put the newly cut end in the buffer. I started with 4 coil...

I think back 10 years to the guy that thought he bent me over on my NIB reisin...
