Supplements: Book on German manufacturer codes till 1945

Hello everybody, I just want to inform you that my book " Deutsche Fertigungskennzeichen bis 1945 " about the secret German manufacturer codes is sold out now. I'm trying to get a few left-over copies from a dealer, so please feel free to ask if you still need one. But that's all and I don't know if...

Re: New book: German rifle grenades and launchers of WW1+2

Thanks

Too bad that it's in German only. But 396 pages are too much to translate ... and my English is not perfect enough.

New book: German rifle grenades and launchers of WW1+2

Dear collectors, since a few days my book "Deutsche Gewehrgranaten und Gewehrgranatgeräte bis 1945" ( German rifle grenades and launchers till 1945 ) is finished. It was a long work during the past years, but now it’s ready and I got the first package from the print shop. :D The book is bound with h...

Re: Lafette Tripod Markings/Manufacturer?

Hi, sorry for the late reply, I haven't had much time for my hobby the past month. The "S" stands for "Simson & Co., Suhl", but this company did not make the item. The real manufacturer can be found by the number written below the "S". It was a trick to fool the Allied control teams because they tho...

Re: Soaking can opinions?

avb is the code of the company "Prestag" Preß- u. Stanzwerkstätten GmbH located in Berlin-Neukölln. The company made products of pressed and stamped steel. Unfortunately I do not have any closer information about the products. The marking looks good ... but I don't know if it's original. With best w...

I have been in Pakistan in 2006 on holiday. There are some really nice guns to see .... here a picture of the police in Gilgit.

Re: Panzerschreck pics

You should be glad that I didn't sign it with my full name .... one page wouldn't be enough to write all the names down. I guess next time I come to Chicago Airport it will take more than 20 minutes (like last year) at the immigration officer's desk

Re: Panzerschreck pics

Nice Panzerschreck!
It's the long version, now you need the short one to have both.

Is your trigger mechanism still in full working order?

I have found two other pics.
These are my original East-German cut-away training weapons AK47 (and a deactivated PPS43).
They also used rifle grenades.

Re: German Granatbüchse 39

I'm glad to hear that you like it :wnana: Well, in Germany we have very strict rules for owning fullauto-weapons. It's only allowed to have fullautos made before May 1945 (all later guns are "war-weapons"). Also the fullautos already have to be in Germany (and legally of course), it's not allowed to...

Some dug-ups .... a Russian molotov-cocktail-launcher, a Russian rifle-grenade launcher and an very early German launcher of WW2.
