Do you know any more of the back story on them? Tom. No, I didn't get any story with them. the Fur MG crate came from a guy who bought it from a guy and so on. I picked up the other sealed crate at the Knob Creek show years ago, and that one supposedly came from an estate. Alot of this surplus Germ...

Yes, 40 is the date.
I don't think I want to try and open any of the sleeves. They are a little fragile.
I also have another crate that still has all the sleeves in the original metal (zinc) box inside the wooden crate.

This empty crate was also part of the deal. The ammo had already been opened and belted by the previous owner, too bad.
