Re: Looking for welding repair help
This is an easy fix. Stick a pipe in the barrel end and block up the receiver with some wood ( inside and outside ) in the vice and bend it straight. Very easy fix. Have had to bend most of my MGs sometime in their use. I reenact with them and I'm not nice to them in the field. Trust me you can very...

Re: 2 piece blank barrle for mg 13
a 2 pc barrel would work just fine in the 13. It would have to be custom made to each 13. The front half of the barrel would have to be welded to the barrel nut on the front of the shroud. The way this gun work it has a barrel that is threaded into the bolt carrier. The carrier in the closed positio...

Re: 1928A1 parts kit and AAT-52 tripod
I have been holding onto this kit for a long time. It is probably the nicest parts kit I have ever had. It was a lucky break finding another front receiver piece at a swap meet that was saw cut at the back of the ejection port instead of the front. Hopefully it finds a good home.

Re: mg 13 bolt accelerator?
It goes into the round bulge on the right side of the receiver. The top is between the bolt and bolt carrier.

Re: New m53 build
Once you finish the first one, you'll be hooked! Once you get the small bugs worked out they run like a top. Thanks for the comment on the Schwartzlose. Once my mill is set up I can remake the last part then that pig should be running like a top also.

Re: New m53 build
First of all this is a very nice build, sorry I have followed it earlier. I'm not sure why it looks like a large space between them. You do need a little space, 0.5 - 1mm. Again, it looks like a very nice build. Here is one of mine in action:

Good luck finding a nice MG42 parts kit for that price. Your best bet will be a M53.

Re: A technical question that will make you cry
You might as well buy a display gun then, or turn yours into one. If you keep rolling over sooner or later your going to fall off of the bed. Stand up for what you believe .

Re: A technical question that will make you cry
That is very easy for both MG42 and MG34, pull the booster cones. No boosters, the barrel won't kick back and eject the old round while loading a new round.... hence; a single shot.

Re: Price check: Reweld all original MG42 Semi
as mentioned above, you don't want to go around selling a re-weld semi auto, trust me it's no fun talking to the ATF. It really is a grey area. You can build it for yourself... once you no longer want it you can sell it...kind of.. it's really a grey area. Every semi auto re-weld I built and then wa...

Re: Take my WLA M53 and fix it!!! Please
Take some good pics of the top of the receiver under the trunnion. There needs to be a cut-out in the receiver. If this is missing or not big enough it will cause this issue. Also try a different feed tray and chain. In the beginning I used to go the the range and for no reason at all my fine runnin...
