I don't think you are correct, 762x51 asked the batf for clarification and they at first classed it as a firearm then reversed thier decision and made it a rifle. as far as I know it has never been reversed. The law applies to everyone not select individuals. The firing mechanism (your design,beach...

No need for a parts count an MG42 is considered a Firearm not a Rifle, so no need to count. This is Based on BRP's and WLA's Letters, I have not seen the WLA letter yet. I don't think you are correct, 762x51 asked the batf for clarification and they at first classed it as a firearm then reversed th...

1942 Mosin Nagant Sniper Rifle

Rifle is 1942 Mosin 91/30 with bayonet, sling, all accessories. Scope is an original, 1962 or 1952, cant remember, but hopefully will figure it out tonight! Rifle is in GREAT shape. Best mosin i have seen. Most importantly it has a steel scope base which will not break like the crappy aluminum ones ...

feeding mechanisms arent even part of the parts count. the mg42 isnt a rifle per BRP and WLA letters so its moot.

Yeah, I think that TIG is the cat's nuts. When I was welding up my receiver, I was doing it in my basement. My buddy asked how I was venting the smoke. I said what smoke? I can weld done there and no one even knows I'm welding. Plus there is no slag to fool with. Just nice clean welds. Since then I...

Why is it going to cost you 1000 to finish it? Semi parts are all you need unless that includes welding price

Don't cringe when I tell you that I took the 9mm booster and opened the hole to 11mm with a 7/16" cobalt drill. I didn't feel like payin gthe shipping on an 11mmm bit so I bought a 7/16" bit. It's very close to 11mm. I used my drill press and centered the hole. A little dab of Tap Magic and the bit...

Orin, I asked Tony at KCR what the classification was in the approval letter. Firearm was the answer. Orin I'm sure he wi...

Orin, I asked Tony at KCR what the classification was in the approval letter. Firearm was the answer. Go Figure, Dan same gun, latest atf opinion letter means to me that all mg42s are firearms not rifles. everyone is subject to the same laws and the firearms are the same. Different semi auto parts ...

It is my understanding that if the parts have holes or slots it is considered a firearm. just like the ak blanks CS makes, there are no slots or holes in them to conform to the 80% regulations. The BRP rears are lacking openings for the ejection port and I believe the grip. they are also not welded...
