it appears you have your cam section on upside down and backwards.
as for the halves read my tutorial on the cam section repair sections, that will show you how to weld up the halves, then copy the slots form the 100% one.

Re: Solothurn / MG15 project
I don't know how the mg34 came into this discussion, the mg15 internals are almost identical to the solothurn that is also called the mg30 I think. the big difference is it is fed from and ejects from the side , not the top and bottom like the mg15. I am making a receiver for this build, it is being...

Solothurn / MG15 project
Several months ago therre was an article in SGN about the Solothurn, it looks kind of like an mg34 but has a magazine instead of a belt. basically this gun internally is an mg15 on its side. I have been wanting to build one and now that I have a HF mini lathe I have started. I have the shroud done a...

Re: Set screw fixed trigger slap...TILL I BROKE IT!
I have ground so much off the bolt and hammer that Im afraid to go any further. How much do I have to take off? As it is, Ive already removed the entire raised face of the hammer.....how much can I take off until it doesnt have enough driving mass to pop the primers? If you are smashing the fcg par...

you have a clearance problem. the hammer is riding on the bottom of the bolt carrier to much. you need to fix that.

Re: New list for V2.0 bolt parts
I can try but no guarantees. I bought a little lathe yesterday to be able to make some of the parts myself. that will speed things up somewhat.MG34Biker wrote:Pirate,

I have done mine by eye, with all the tapers etc it is tough to get measurements. if you fit all the parts as you go and eyeball it it will be straight.

New list for V2.0 bolt parts
I made a drill jig today and drilled a couple of solid base wedges. Results look good so I am going to make another run if there is enough interest. due to the extra work and cost for carbide tools the price will be $105.00 for the new insert assy. If you are interested post in this thread. It will ...

Re: V.2 bolt parts update
If you are out of wedges can we send you some of our parts? The wedges I used for these have a hollow base. this allows the use of the tube for the striker assy. the tube serves 2 important functions, the first and most important is it ensures that the wedge is always straight giving a straight pat...
