I was looking at RTG guns and I noticed that you could get a yugo bolt for $90, yet the MG3 bolt heads are $220.

I will be shooting mostly 308. Is there any advantage that justifies the prices the MG3 bolt head?

So, are these HK21 belts for sale with RTG the same as MG3 belts?

Has anyone used the 150 or 250? Thoughts?

At long last, My MG42 not only spoke,, but sang and sang. I ran almost 500 rounds throughout it flawlessly.

What an awesome piece of hardware when it runs.

Help, I got one also with a bad leg. It is the height adjustment. One leg started slowly collapsing as I was shooting.

I found that the charging handle was shaking loose causing the problem. I tried two new handles and that did not fist the problem. As a filed fix, I used some tape to hold the handle in position. I just got a post war MG42 brass catcher. I have not tried it out yet. Has anyone used one of these? Do they help keep the brass from getting mashed?

Soemtimes I can swap out a top cover in less then a minute.

Other times, I struggle to get that top cover pin all the way in? Is there an easier to install pin? Is there a better way?

That may be it, I noticed a burr on the charging handle. The bolt was dragging on the charging handle. I fixed it so that it would not drag. I need to test it.
