Now that I got your attention, mike hollamon on the weaponeer site is giving away 3mmx12mm roll pins for the mg42 build email him at mikehollamon@zoominternet.net these are for the latch on the end of the reciever that locks the buffer in :twisted: free is goood

one thing that stinks is when you add the plates to the grip for sa you will cover all the waffen amps and inspecting stamps from ww2 dam shame

this is the second kit i have from aa the first being a snowcap maxim that is excellent all ORIGINAL STAMPED matching #'s and mint bluing,I doubt it was ever fired, just wish I had gotten it at a group buy price ouch

all my parts are bpr and nazi proofed, plus i got the bipod with adjusting screw, it sucks they screwed yours up, my only complaint is the cut going through the booster thing

unfortunatly i didn't try to reblue the bren just painted for now, though I love the look of a blue - blued gun not the black color but I am afaraid the mg42 will get maganesed or guncoated only the rec. though cause my other parts look new so I'll leave em blued

this mount is a looott more complex than a m2 and would probly cost more in time and $ than you can buy one for, unless you want a ww2 lafeyette they are big $$ but still complex

the spacing and welding is pretty simple but i wish i had had a jig, someone was selling a brass jig a while back and I think it had pieces to go inside to reduce or eliminate internal slag, now the mg42 i think will have to use a jig so the over all demensions are good because I'm not sure how else...

got my h&k $425 shipped on ebay with optics & lite used but nice shape, tapco had them 300 shipped complete but with torn cushion (they ran out fast) though they still have undamaged at regular price, goto the links forum, most places probly sell them, condition is probly the same everywhere without...

i only have it rewelded,with raised section and outside welds are ground down, mag fits, barrel fits,cocking handle fits and moves, top and bottom reciever are fitted together, I real didn't start grinding the inside or do any internal mods, this project is allllooooot of grinding I can't tell you t...
