Look into "Wolf-Springs" (or Wolfe-Springs) in a search of the internet.
They use to make new MP40 recoil-springs.

Re: Need Help converting Wise Lite Gen 2 to 308
radar645, As jbaum has posted.....you need to know what size hole is in the Booster-Cup/"Nozzle" that you are having issues with (short-stroking). Just measure the front hole on the Booster-Cup/"Nozzle".....and let us know what size you have......possibly another Board member here has a smaller one ...

radar645, You have asked a question about "something slowing the hammer down".......and it has been answered in two separate post. A hammer can be slowed down by "any" contact with the bolt-assembly as the hammer moves from "cocked-position" till it hits the rear of the firing-pin. You can check thi...

FESTUNG29, Thank you very much for that information.... ....and yes, those photos I did barrow from your French MG34/MG42 Board for examples of differences that I was asking about. Guys, that French-Board has a lot of information on most German Machineguns, Lafettes, Optics, Accessories, Ammo-Boxes,...

Re: MG42/59 Booster cone needed.
Spiggs, I have taken the liberty to "barrow" the photo TactAdv posted earlier to remind you that you do not have to manufacture a new Flash-Hider........just the small-flat-Booster-"Disk" that sits inside the front of the Flash-Hider. Please look at the short/flat-part (Booster-Disk) that is sitting...

Re: 34 lafette bracket
Just remember if you copy the MG34 Lafette-front-mounting-bracket (to weld into an MG42-Lafette-Rail-system) that when the MG34 Barrel-Jacket pivots to the right, it also "cams" forward about 3/8" in that front mount.

TactAdv, Great photo.........with question: Is that a short Booster-Cup/"Nozzle" between the Flash-Hider and the Barrel-Bearing in your photo (?). I don't remember seeing one in Spiggs's-video. Could he be possibly missing this part (?).......or that it is there (stuck" unside the Flash-Hider (?). R...

Re: MG42/59 Booster cone needed.
Spiggs, I had a chance to review your short video.......and it brings up a few questions (or "options") that you may (or may not) want to try. First...... You have an Italian/Beretta MG42/59 which is different than a German MG42/59.......although the differences are small......some parts will not wo...
