Hello Brian, Have you tried Gun-Borker-Auctions (?). Have you tried E-Bay (?). Have you e-mailed or called Allegany-Arsenal and SARCO, Inc. Have you e-mailed/called GunPartsCorp (?). Have you called/e-mailed Ohio-Ordnance-Works.........or "Brian" at BRP-Corp (?). Have you contacted "John" up at MARS...

Re: Mg 42 Lafette on ebay
What is really sad.........is that I have been offered a few of these WWII Tripods from England (where the "shop-owners" believe that even with the weld-lines on that front weapon-mount, that the "shop-owners" say nothing is wrong...."it's all WWII German"! ). I was even offered an Austrian MG42 Bol...

Re: Mg 42 Lafette on ebay
Hello Bergflak, Thank you for the "link" to that MG42 Lafette on E-Bay. My thoughts are that this is an attempt to pass a "Yugo" Tripod off as WWII German (?)......as evident by the front and rear weapon mounting-brackets.....the "D-Rings", and some of the markings do not look correct. But you have ...

Re: WTB Yugo Gurtfuller 34 Table Clamp
maxfaxdude, I believe that the "issue" that you will incounter is that these Belt-Loaders" usually are usually sold as complete units (IE: Acomplete Belt-Loader with Table-Clamp)...........and for someone to sell off their "Table-Clamp" from their unit will make their Belt-Loader not complete (unusa...

Have you looked on "Bergflak's" web-page in Norway (?).
Also check with BRP-Corp (Brian)......and over to Ohio-Ordnance-Works.
Might place a WTB ad over on the Sturm.-Board.....(?).

Re: What is the going rate on an mg42/34 reweld?
usmc8488, and ncreptile, I have read that Bob-Naess from Black-River-Militaria has done this work in the past......and we have had another MG42-Board member posting some photos and information about his SA42-Build by "Bob". Bob has not advertised this service........so I would guess that the best wa...

Re: Converting a 34 from full to semi auto.
Another suggestion might be to make/replace the spring-loaded-release in the rear of trigger with a small-plate that would keep the trigger from moving to the rear more than the semi-only-"travel-distance" when either the upper or lower part of the trigger is pulled on. Just a thought. Regards, Rich...

Re: Converting a 34 from full to semi auto.
JH, I stand correct.......I overlooked that is in posting. Isn't there something to do with a disconnector/trip that must be hit by the bolt during forward movement (?)......that unless the disconnector is "tripped" that the gun remains in full-auto-mode (?). As this is happening intermittently, pos...

maxfaxdude,
They are not only on GunBrokerAuctions......but all over E-Bay in USA and DE (Germany).
Also......did you try contacting SARCO, Inc......and ask about the missing table-clamp......or did you buy it this way (?).

Re: Converting a 34 from full to semi auto.
Haak48, Damien lives on one of the British Isle.......where he tells us that he can own a semi-only SA34 (MG34 that only fires one bullet with each pull of the trigger)........but his LAW will not allow him to own a full-automatic MG34... Damien, Have you talked with Bob-Naess of Black-River-Militar...

Re: Mg42 help w/stampings
Vavoom42, By the photo, it looks more like those markings are from the left-rear of the receiver of the MG42 manufactured by Gustloff-Werke, Suhl in 1943. Below these "engraved" markings should be a serial-number w/wo-prefex.....and under that engraved code of "dfb" (which is the code for Gustloff-W...

Re: Need Help converting Wise Lite Gen 2 to 308
Der Alder, On the subject of the MG3 FH and Barrel-Bearing..........knowing the added weight for the SA42 Bolt-Assembly that will probably end up being the "challenge" that must be over come............would it be better to suggest the switching back to MG42 FH, Booster-Cup/"Nozzle", and Barrel-Bear...

Thank you Der Alder. Hello Jbaum, I guess we are about to discuss the ideas of pressure and where I get my information....correct (?). I really don't want to scare you though........and none of this is "personal". Re: Need Help converting Wise Lite Gen 2 to 308
jbaum, Incorrect.......the longer Barrel-Bearing actually sticks out of the front of the receiver into the Booster-Cup/"Nozzle" about .010" more than the shorter Barrel-Bearing..........and that additional length allows the high-pressure a split second longer inside the Booster-Cup/"Nozzle" area (an...

Re: Need Help converting Wise Lite Gen 2 to 308
radar645, From what you are telling us.....and correct me if I am wrong (from your reply above)...... The 10mm Booster-Cup/"Nozzle" did not work for .308 ammo.....correct (?). You only have a couple of options available at this time..... 1: Either locate a 9mm to 9.5mm Booster-Cup/"Nozzle" to try wi...
