Re: M53 receiver stampings don't reach cut barrel shroud.

There have been several different cuts from different time periods. Short cuts were the norm for several years then centerfire got in a load of receivers that had longer cuts. One of time periods of the shorter cut was about 10 to 15 years ago. For a time period there was a piece being sold as a fil...

Re: Parts Dimensions

Not sure if a list of sizes was ever made. As with a lot of those items they are the same size. There are several photo (or were, Thanks to off site hosting) topic listings that showed the differences. Pic by pic comparisons. Look around and if my computer keeps working I'll see what I can find to h...

Re: Mg42 on a mg3 tripod

Believe me set the trigger lever straight out towards you and slap it down fast and it will go thru a 50 rd belt so fast you will not think about crank fire unless you have lots of ammo. Been there done that with the slap of the trigger bar before.
Enjoy
Looking forward to the pics.

Re: 10 round belt.

Like the idea of keeping the belt length at 50 and doing the grind out so only 10 can be loaded in a row. Nice idea. Ok, question can you receive the belt and then grind it before anyone knows or ???? So happen to live in a state does not have those rules. And I/we don't have those problems. Later 4...

Re: Mg42 on a mg3 tripod

The MG42 semi, what trigger setup does it have? If the standard ar-15 one then a little bending to the mg3 lafetter trigger metal might be needed. Not much but. Sorry no thoughts on the rivet hitting problem. A pic might help out a lot here. Good Luck and let us know whats working post a pic and we ...

Re: 10 round belt.

And a starter tab holds 3 rounds. Do they count that in a possible belt of ten rounds?
I would hope not. Are you going to be shooting 8mm or 308?

Brian does not always have everything listed on the website.
You should call him and ask about it and if he is out when will he be doing a run.
