As titled. Been away from here awhile, and thought I would stop in and say hello. Anybody making any progress on their 34's?
Regards,

Re: US made Gripstick and Bolt conversion services
This is great news, PB is doing these again. I'm going to need a few since I haven't got the time to make them myself at the moment.

Re: MG34 Receiver Repair Section - A Review
I can rough it in, but I have found differences between a number of origional receivers. I wouldn't want to cut it out to finish size to fit one of mine only to have it mismatch yours. I would consider as an option to fit your end pieces to the center section and THEN cut the charging handle slot. T...

Re: MG34 Receiver Repair Section - A Review
Editing isn't an option in this thread. So I wanted to add, that it is a Posibility that I will be making 100% recievers by summer. I will have to modify some machinery to accomidate the longer length of a full receiver. Bolt channels will have NO chatter marks, it will be EDM wire cut. No cams or e...

Re: MG34 Receiver Repair Section - A Review
Thanks BL, Things are going considerably better than originaly expected. It's amazing the medical field has spent billions over the last 20 years researching brain injuries and still can't make a good prognosis today. I fully was expecting the worst due to the prognosises of all the doctors. but gre...

Re: MG34 Receiver Repair Section - A Review
All available center sections have been sold. Though I am still getting inquiries here and there. If there is indeed an interest in these sections. I can make another batch by spring. Right now I'm tied up making VZ58 receivers and conversion parts. Along with a few other gun projects including 1919...

Re: 34 welding advise needed
Due to the metal composite, thickness and it's variance, it is extreemly difficult to fill gaps with welds on the fixture. You do have the option of building up the areas that you need individualy and fitting them together that way with no gap. Also if you build them up prior to fitting you can reco...

Re: TNW Project
TC, I am sorry you are having problems with the converted parts. I have no idea if TNW receivers are spec to the origional design less semi modifications. If TNW's sear pin and safety holes are not to spec then my trigger bar apparently will not work correctly. I am more than willing to help fix thi...

Re: Snapring rotation problem back of bolt
While the ears on the snap ring may ocasionaly rotate and cause a problem. TC has the recomended fix. As for the sear ring rotating. I haven't found any problems with it. Actualy it works better rotating than being stationary. First rotation of the sear ring reduces axial wear and groving of the sea...

Re: MG34 Receiver Repair Section - A Review
16 yrs Tool, Die and Mold work. Plus my Dad was a Machiniest for 40yrs and taught me a lot when I was a kid. I've probably hand typed more lines of G Machine code than what comes with windows. Actualy the Safety Selector slot is pretty easy on the 34. It's the same radius and center but different de...

Re: MG34 Receiver Repair Section - A Review
I'd have to think about it. I'm pretty sure I could at least rough it out for you. Could possibly lend you the fixture to set it up on the Bridgport too. 80% is only a public description, ATF does not have a definition of 80%. Just whether or not it's a firearm. Cost for roughing wouldn't be too muc...
