I'd be in for 2 of them!

Has anyone heard from gfarq? I tried to go on his website to see if there were any updates on his blueprints for the MG34 receiver before I final fit everything and the website is gone? Any help would be great! TIA

The Jig I received from CD has the flat edge for the bucking tools to seat flat on, it was one of their later design jigs.

This looks like the one Critical Dimentions are selling, but I can't be sure. The Critical Dimentions ones are a nice piece of work.

I am also building 2 suomi's and sent Tommerr 2 bolts to convert, I am going to start in on my receivers shortly! (hopefully the help of a friends mill)!

Not to steal the thread but, How's the Suomi comming?

You should also check the trunnion (if it was installed by BRP) to make sure it’s usable. Some earlier dummy guns had worn out ones.

If I remember correctly BRP used trunnions with one of the inside rails milled off so it could only be used as a dummy receiver until the trunnion was replaced.

MDMIKE I also have one of the receivers from the same group buy and did not assemble it yet. I will try to answer your question regaurding the buffer not twisting onto the BRP receiver as best I can. First off make sure the buffer fits on your 3-cut and it will only twist on in 1 direction. If I rec...

Pretty much sums it up!!!!!!
I received a 3 cut from dan earlier in the week, the cuts were real nice I was very pleased,
Can't say enough good things about Dan and his products!!!!

When the time comes, I'd be interested in the tripod also!

I just got a spare MG34 receiver from IMA, The cuts are nice and the same as shown on their web site, Cams were still there, ejector plate was still in 1 peice and the threads at the rear of the receiver were untouched by the torch.
If anyone needs one now is the time!
