When I screw it all the way on I noticed it pushes the barrel back about a quarter of an inch so the barrel is not able to fully extend during operation. Problem finally has been solved, it was the booster cone assembly. Rate fire has been dramatically increased, I wasn't expecting it and it knocked me back on my butt. Thanks everyone for the assistance.

The barrel bearing hole measures around 9mm the flash hider hole is about 10mm. The site I bought them from stated that they need to be drilled to MG42 specs. There is adequate clearance so I was not clear on the exact reason for the drilling,thanks.
