I have an MG34 with the standard 11.5 mm barrel bushing that has periodic ejection issues. I would like to locate a 9 or 9.5mm bushing to try in it. Please advise if you have one for sale.

It's matching and it is a tanker. If it runs right I would take no less than 5K and I would feel that is low for something you may never see again.

Nope All I could find was just a video on MG34 breakdown to major components. Nothing further. I could have sworn I had seen one somewhere.

I dont know if this will help but try You Tube. I think I have seen a video or two there on the bolt.

AGREE Stan is the man!

I have had builders tell me they will not touch one of the those recivers because of the tools and machining required to finish them. Too much time and money for what you get. You would be better off buying a cut origional receiver and having it rewelded.

What I great job. I have both an MG34 and a MG42 Lafette that I would love to do but I am wondering what kind of hit, if any, are you taking on the value? Also do you need the special wrenches to disassemble them?

I have seen MG34 with matching bolts in electropencil. I have seen MG42 bolts with a serial number electropenceled, it stands to reason that they also came from the factory matching.

The ones I have seen were numbered that way. I don't think I have ever seen one with stamped serial numbers.
