Drooling first I don't know how to make a sticky and second I need to do more research and find out more about the gun. Or some more guys need to add more info about the gun to this thread. just think this is our MG42

Well TOS is at it again. Having all kinds of trouble trying to convert my 1919 kit in to a 17A1 gun. The 42/53 is butchored really bad. Thinking about buying one of those rear section kits to make it easier.

My father retired in 1973 from the Army as a MSG E8 with a tour in Vietnam where he won a Bronze Star. He tells me that the best officers he served under were all from west point.

Around here the pawn shops turn in a list of guns that they take in. I'm kind of hopping that they might be stupid enough to try to pawn it.

First thing I did was call the sheriff. The deputy gave me a case number on the back of her card. Then we started tearing the house apart to see if it were not just missed place. I bought mine Back before home builds got big. Got a kit at the same time for spare parts. Awhile back got a mg 42/53 kit for a capture gun and am thinking about building both into guns. I don't even own, nor have the desire to build a 1919a4 :oops: :lol: ... Hmm but i might eventually just buy one,...

I guess there aren't as many crossovers here as there used to be. You and I seem to be the only ones who have posted here. Sure hope it gets figured out soon. But now I get to work on 43/53 kit. Slow but sure on my kits not having any thing but hand tools.
