Does anyone know where I might be able to find the stock on the Rheinmetall MG3 upgrade?

No, I used a German 42 rear section from the cam back and the nose/barrel bushing and a Yugo shroud. It is coming together well, but I find myself bored with it already. This is number 4 for me and the thrill is gone. I might sell it off.

On it's way to being born again.

Where did you find them? (keys)

I bought them with the intention to use them for the 1919. USGI 30.06

I found this on a Gunbroker auction. It too is a Mitchill's Mauser Collectors.

It's right above the serial # on the left side of the receiver. The rifle is all matching. As you can see in the pic there is some pitting, but very mild.

I got a good deal on it and took it. i have seen Russian marks before. They are deep and crude. These marks are uniform almost as thought done with a stamp. I will try to post a pic.

I just bought a Mitchell's Mauser on Gunbroker. It has a mark that I am not familiar with. Could someone tell me what it is? It looks like an X with a vertical line throught the middle.

Unfortunitly the receiver is out of spec. When you pull the charging handle back it pops out of place. I know it is about 1/8 inch off behind the tripod lug. I just don't know where the differance needs to be made up in the front. If you have very good receiver prints it might be easy to repair. Ask...

Are these legs for a BAR bipod? I know some one here will be able to identify them.
