Re: Wise Lite Builds
Well, as I said, your mileage may vary. Also, there was no insult intended on anyone new to beltfed weapons. I have messed with beltfed weapons for the last 22 years in the US Army and it only took me 19 years to be a Master Gunner. Beltfeds are the worst to deal with, but once you understand them, ...

Re: Wise Lite Builds
Mine runs like a top right out of the box. Its also one of the better put together parts kit builds that are out there.
I found that most people that buy a beltfed and have little to no experience operating one have the problems you mentioned...

Re: SEMI AUTO MG-42
A question: have you ever run a beltfed weapon before? That was not meant to insult you. Beltfeds are one of a kind gems. They are like women: they all pretty much run the same way, but each has its on quirks... Setp 1 on a beltfed is to ensure you know what each part on the weapon does, and how it ...

Re: M53 Assembly Instruction (Newbie)
I used the original with the MG 1 top cover and it worked great. I really did not care for the MG1 FH finish.

M13 Links in M53 with .308 Conversion
Anyone tried disintegrating links with the .308 conversion? Tese are the sam links used for the M60 and others.
I am under the impression it will work.
Fact or fiction?

Re: Ordering/Shipping Times for Century
I bought mine from Centerfire, and Magnus treated me right. Free shipping too, and threw in extra belts. Very beautiful beltfed. Fired mine today in .308 and ran flawlessly. Next weekend I'm going to try M13 disintegating links. I would suggest not buying any accessories from Northridge Inc. They st...

Re: M53 Assembly Instruction (Newbie)
I have been looking at this conversion, can I run M13 links through this?
I would be so happy to hear yes, it will work! I have a bunch of .308 on M60 belts.

M53 Assembly Instruction (Newbie)
I'm a newbie to this M53. I have qualifications though, I'm in the US Amry and the unit Master Gunner. If it is a M242 Bushmaster or below beltfed I can make it sing. Just took apart my M53 and put in one of rtgparts .308 conversions. I need some help with the outside flash hider, underneath booster...

RTG Parts Thank you!
Gentlemen, If you have not bought a .308 conversion kit for your MG-42/M53 from Robert at RTG Parts, http://www.robertrtg.com/ then you are missing out. This thing is new Rheinmetall parts, all for $270. I cracked the top cover out of the Rheinmetall box. I have bought from Robert for the last many ...
