Who makes a complete rear half receiver that requires a FFL

Hi Folks,

It's probably been a couple years since I posted on here. I just found an old-school kit with the complete front and plenty of material behind the trunion area. Who is making the rear half that require a FFL?

Re: wise lite arms -QC

Hi Folks, I haven't posted here in AGES so...... I have sold approximately 12-15 of the WiseLite Arms M53's from Century and so far there has only been two issues. Both issues were resolved without having to contact WLA customer service. The first issue was failure to fire. The customer picked up th...

Re: MG42 and M240, Bren and PKM

Ron-what an ir-responsible way to mount the 42! You need one of the mounts Jbaum was selling. The way you have it,the gunner would slide off when you hit the brakes!.BTW,a convertible works better-mount to the windshield header, and the gunner gets to sit in the back seat with the ammo! :D ---bil :r...

What's a better heat-sink... brass or copper?

I am going to reweld another MG42 and a Ultimax and was wondering which of the two is a better heat sink and backing for welding, brass plate or copper plate?

Re: Pic of my MG42 (new pics on 01 APR 07)

BTW that's a nice looking '65 coupe in the background. I am in the middle of restoring a 64 1/2 V8 coupe as I write this. The mustang is a very early '65 model with a 289. It was originally my son's car that I bought for him when he was 14. We spent MANY nights and weekends on it. We bought it from...

Here are some more pics of my MG42 with a couple of different guys shooting them. We did a 6 hour shoot in the desert today and only one hard primer in the whole run of 50's Yugo ammo. Those are also my M-60 and 1919 as well 8) http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y147/ScottCunningham/DSCF46522.jpg http...

Rivet install with TIG welder

Well... I tried a different method for installing rivet for the rails. Many thanks to Bil who provided me with a set of rivets :) I started with a female/female 5/16 couplers and some 5/16 threaded rod from Home Depot. I only use about 1.5 inches fo rod. I put both couplers on the rod.. screwing eac...

Forgive me if somebody has already posted this (not enough time to go through all the posts) but that appears to be a 7.62x39 PKM you are building. Your build also reminds me of the M-60 with ejection port cut on the side (opposite side though) and the long channel for a receiver. The PKM is an upsi...

Got my kits as well today. I opened up one kit and cleaned of the cosmolene. The parts are all in great condition and even noticed that the barrel MAY may be an original German unit. The area towards the chamber was turned and appears as if the stampings were removed and new stampings put on. thanks...
