Re: WLA M53 Problems... HELP!
Have found out how to 'bump' fire the MG in the tripod. :D Last December at a camping trip we were 'melting' pumpkins. Put the pumpkins on a tank (Texan for pond) berm and zeroed in the MG on the bottom of the pumpkin. Add a belt or two and the pumpkin disappears. :D It's fun until you realize how m...

Anybody? Found a few people who can weld but have never welded a firearm. There's gotta be someone out there that does builds.

Any MG42 builders out there?
Howdy! May have found a deal on an actual MG42 kit (1943). There's also an aftermarket semi fcg, new receiver, new barrel and some spare parts. I have a WLA M53 (both 8mm and 308 conversions) and love it. I think the kit can be had for a decent price. Just don't have the time or the welding skills t...

Re: WLA M53 Problems... HELP!
*** UPDATE *** Purchased a MG3 tripod and the 308 conversion parts for my M53. The tripod is a must have! I can change calibers in less that five minutes. Haven't had any issues with the M53 since getting it back from WLA. Have put about 1000 rounds thru it. Ran another 150 rounds thru it last weeke...

Re: just curious about converting to .308
Hey there guys. I have a Wise Lite Arms M-53. She had two trips back to WLA for repairs. But they did fix her. They paid shipping both ways and sent extra parts. Have no issues at all with WLA. Picked up a MG3 mount and the 7.62 conversion parts from RTG. Took it out to the range Saturday. Fired 8mm...

Re: WLA M53 Problems... HELP!
Yes, after this experiance I would purchase another WLA product without hesitation.
On the web I ran across an AK-47 pistol made by WLA. Looks sweet. Can't seem to find one online though![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)
