Re: Price check on Doppel Trommel items: winder, mag, & Top covr

I too am sitting on a few kits. In my opinion ( the stuff I see for sale now) is cheaper than what it was. Also the complete kits are not as nice. If they do have the complete receiver its torch cut beyond any recognition! All the good stuff (true complete kits that have complete matching receivers ...

Re: bringing a semi mg34 to ca...

The MG34 is not on any ban list. By removing the pistol grip (FCG) you can legally posses the gun here! You cannot buy-sell or bring anf "feeding device" that may hold more than 10 rounds. Specifically the belts. The drums are OK, as they dont have springs, coils or followers and need the ...

Re: FS- Two German Bundeswer MG1 kits

Hey Cowboy - many Thanks.

The cleanest kit I have seen by far. And I own several.
The cuts are so sharp and clean. They rival saw cut.

I want to ask, "why did you sell" but I am sure you had a good reason and I
will not be blamed for being intrusive.

Many Thanks.

I saw one offered about a month ago for $250. It may have been GB, or not. I don't know if it sold.

Thanks - That exactly what i was looking for. just needed a rough idea.

Yes, it was imported from the UK back in 2000 to Canada. A nice clean, original example.
I must clean it up and take to proper photos to share.

were you required to make any changes for the import?

Re: MG42 Receiver cuts..The Good, The Bad and Ugly!!

Bullwinkle - You are correct. They weld the chamber of the barrel. Sometimes the chamber and the muzzle. Some places require the barrel to be cut/ported at the chamber instead of welding. They dislike the BCG just as much as the barrel (bolt head specifically) - firing pin. Extractor. to be all weld...

Re: Introductions (or one way to increase your post count).

Hello - New here.. Looking to buy a MG42 kit. I know very little of this gun. why I like the MG42? It is a WWII gun. It sounds better than other guns of its time, in my opinion. Maybe due to the high rate of fire .. I am in contact with Bullwinkle here. Most likely will be getting one of his.. I sti...
