Re: New guy!

I wouldn't mind having the 8cm. It would go great with my 5cm Mod 36 u. Mle 37s.
The case in the foreground is the original carrying case for an Mle 37.

Re: odd belt loader

That is a Bundeswehr loader for the MG 3.
Probably worth around $200?

Re: New Member Intro

You-all gonna have a blast!!!
I did the Nato conversion to my 42 because it was simple, change a 4 parts.
I actually found that the gun works just fine - Most of the time - with the 8mm cover u. feed tray.
However best to do the full 4 part conversion and never have to worry about it.

Re: Firing from the shoulder

Take the 42 sling loose from the grip and put it over your head, disconnect the bipod feet from the back bbl jacket and hold it by the feet u. out at about a 45 degree angle away from the gun. This allows the weight of the gun to rest against the sling and with the butt under your arm the bipod now ...

Re: A few G/K 43s

NOPE! :bnija: I'm greedy, once I lay my grubby paws on this stuff it never sees the light of day again. The stack just continues to grow. Except for a big hic-up in the early 70s when the soon to be X and her boy friend cleaned out the house (I only got the MGs & 12 rifles back) this has been an ong...

Re: WTK K98 stock with "7.62" carved in toe

What you have is an Isreali replacement stock threy made for K98k rifles they were rebuilding. There will be no marking on most of those rifle stocks that woukd equate to markings on German stocks. Shouuld you be lucky enuf to find someone restoring an iasreali then you're in. Gluck AB! Dean

Re: SS Marked P38

The markings are FAKE! I know of NO legit SS skull mark on any firearm that has the runes Under the skull, if they're there they're always on top. Having said that then lets look at the markings themselves - the runes are to skinny and not done right, the skull is also bad and as someone else said t...

Re: SS K98 Bayonets

Definately FAKE! Dress/parade bayonets were NEVER made from combat bayonets. I remember when these first showed up. Lots of guys got suckered because no one knew anything about them AND unfortunately most were not smart enuf to question them being reworked combat bayonets. Since I had no interest in...
