Re: BRP rear reciever question

It depends on how much of the front reciever you have. Post some pic and we might be able to help you out a little better.

I have to agree with Der Adler. The markings look new, almost "mint" condition.

Re: need help with receiver dimensions

If you check out the stickes section, I believe that there are several threads with the measurments you need. Also project guns has really good build tutorials. As far as the front bushing put that on last, once the receiver is togather, add the bushing and set it to the total length of the receiver...

Re: Building a 42/M53 and need measurements

If your check out Pirate's build tutorial it gives the 37 11/16th inch as the original length of the receiver. One of the other build tutorials says that as long as it is between 37 9/16 and 37 11/16 in you are good.

Re: Feed tray fit question.

Thanks for the replys. Talked to the guys a Project Guns, who were very helpful and are some great guys. The mistake was all mine for not checking my measurements. I used the spacer to gauge the length and not my feed tray. I cut my middle piece down to fit the spacer length and added a 1/4 in piece...

Feed tray fit question.

Finished welds on receiver and was fitting parts found out the feed tray did not fit. After comparing my feed tray to the spacer (from my project guns welding jig) I discovered a 1/4 inch difference. Any body have a solution?

Thanks for your help,

Chris

Re: Binding charging handle

Be careful on using Pam, over time it will get sticky. Working in foodservice, I have had to have slicers and other equipment repaired because my staff used pan spray to lubricate.

I would be interested as well, if it is something where I can take out my semi parts, drop it in and put my semi parts back in when I want to live fire.
