Anyone done it?
Thanks,

Chamber piece for a .308 2 part MG34 blank barrel.
Looking for the chamber piece for a .308 2 part MG34 blank barrel. Have an 8mm chamber piece for trade.
Also have a spare 8mm 2 piece blank barrel that is missing the screw on muzzle piece, so am looking for for one of the muzzle pieces.
Thanks,
Tim

Re: Ebay ammo drums and carrier
considering that the original German drums were blued, yea, they were painted. Were ALL of them blued? If I strip the original wartime dunkelgelb paint off of a couple of my drums, I'm going to find bluing underneath? I would suspect that at some point they stopped bluing them and started painting ...

Have not seen the Facebook page, buy am assuming that the builder is trying to build a dummy gun?
Doesn't the BATFE have receiver specific requirements for rebuilding parts kits into dummy guns?

Re: Sarco "LAFETTE GROUND TRIPOD"
Just got mine, but have not done anything with it.
Paint is pretty dinged up, but everything is there, including the bolt box. Good deal
Make sure you get the one WITH the sight block.

Re: M53 Help! Please!
Regarding your .308 question, mine is running .308 blanks just fine with only a barrel change and BFA. Keep an eye on the length of the spring in the bolt head. As it gets shorter, your bursts may get longer... BTW the Pakistani .308 blanks that Century is currently selling are jamming in my .308 ba...

Re: K98 Scope Mount
Sounds like a ZF41 scope mount (left side of the rear sight) there are aftermarket repro mounts as well as repro ZF41 scopes.

Two color 1938 MG34 barrel carrier
Had mostly stripped the Yugo green off of my 1938 MG34 barrel carrier in preparation for repainting it when I read the thread about using acetone to remove the Yugo paint without removing the original paint, so I thought I would give it a try to get the rest of the Yugo green off. The acetone worked...

Re: Got my kit today. The good, bad and the UGLY
Just got a complete barrel shroud from Sarco and they are ex-Israeli and parkerized, not blued. tim Given the paucity of '34 sets, except getting a lucky break some place, it sounds like you did okay. :D I agree with Michael, much of the cosmetic stuff can be dealt with, but I feel your pain about t...
