Semi auto trigger options??

Well, my receiver is finished. For most of you that are following you know that I made matters SO much worse by doing it myself. Id like to avoid giving myself another headache and considering purchasing a prefab semi grip. Does anybody know who sells them and how much they cost? (Wiselite has them ...

Re: Not ejecting when hand cycling?

charging handle lock? I gotta look into that. I dont think mine even engages. I had a hell of a time rebuilding the ratchet plate so maybe I should pay more attention to that. I dont have the trigger group even installed yet. Im just gonna keep bending things and grinding till it all works....

Re: Not ejecting when hand cycling?

Cut the spring down to about 19 coils. But the spring is binding up something firece and is a PITA to charge. NOw when it strips a round off the belt, it doesnt seem to have sufficient force to fully chamber the round. I guess Ill keep tweaking it. Maybe needs some axle grease :)

Re: Not ejecting when hand cycling?

The extraction issue was just me not remembering how to manhandle a roller locked weapon. I was opening the cam, hesitating, and then charging.

Im gonna check the spring later. Im pretty sure thats what it is.

Not ejecting when hand cycling?

Well smack my butt and call me Sally! Ive got her put together enough to where I can hand cycle the action. When I let the bolt fly forward, she will strip a round and throw it in the chamber. However, when I pull it open 2 things happen... 1)Sometimes the round stays in the chamber. I just charge i...

Mainspring question??

Guys, Ive got the rails installed and am about to function test the bolt/feed assy/bbl lockup. (no trigger group yet, waiting to fund the SA mods) What exactly do I need to do to the main spring? I assume I have to cut off some coils, but how many? I think I paid 6.00 for a new spring several months...

I really screwed up this time...

I posted a similar string in the built it section, but I really need help with maximum exposure. I REALLY dont wanna give up on this gun! I let my buddy weld up a few nasty spots on my receiver (nasty cause of my nasty welding skills) and now my nose section is horribly warped. Now I need a replacem...

Need help fixing bbl bushing& nose PLEASE!

I welded up my receiver myself using my HF welder. All went well except I really boogered up the nose section. I cut a 2x2 section of the nose (L side) from my yugo kit and gave it too a buddy to cut and repair with his MIG setup. I got it back today and the bbl is binding so bad that I cant fix it....

Re: welder question

I use a gasless HF MIG, and let me tell you, my $hit is UGLY! I wish I had access to better, but its all Ive got. IM pretty sure that when this project is complete Im gonna get an award for 'nastiest welds'. Go for a TIG, avoid the mistakes I have made!

Re: Who buys this junk?

I never had BB guns or firecrackers as a kid. Not a one. MY father didnt even let me have more than one plastic toy gun. But the one error he made was teaching me how to burn EVERYTHING. Dad was a engineer in 'Nam and I guess they burned everything over there. So, growing up as a kid while you guys ...

Re: Who buys this junk?

I guess ONE or TWO (two at most!) as part of a collection is cool, but I just imagine some guy with his gun room lined with WWII dolls. Little creepy if you ask me. I build scale armor (1:35) and have seen some of the large scale figure kits you can build, but heck, at least they are models that tak...
