Re: MG34 reweld question

Well none of th experts have answered so here is my guess......this is a sear lever? The part that is in charge of releasing the sear? I wouldnt want soft metal on that. What happens if it fails as you chamber a round or are handling the weapon? If it were me, Id harden it.

Re: MG34 opinions please

So Im interested in your other deactiviated guns and collections. Here in the US the guns must be cut in several places and destroyed before we can rebuild them. Your method of demil is much nicer for a demo weaopon. You are welcome to come to my house and shoot my MG42 but you will need to bring me...

Re: MG34 opinions please

Here in the States a gun marked that nicely would go for over 2 grand, and thats as a demilled parts kit. In that condition, with the 'European' demill, the gun is well worth the price. If you have the money, dont hesitate....buy it.

Re: MG34 opinions please

Is that a live weapon or deactivated? If it is live, and you can legally own it, BUY IT! The scratches are where the original serial numbers or stamps were ground off. Buy it buy it but it!!!

Re: MG34 opinions please

Those numbers are called 'forced matches'. When the weapon went thru an arsenal rebuild, all the parts were either replaced or rebuilt. The gun was considered 'new' again and it was re-numbered. The electric pencil was common practice to re number after an arsenal rebuild. (especially by the Russian...

Re: Where did all the front sections go?

Ive tried contacting Marstar a few times on other small issues, they didnt even return my email. I was just hoping somebody here would kind of give me the 'forum hookup' and be willing to trade or let it go for an honest price. IM currently negotiating a possible trade, but if anybody is interested ...

Where did all the front sections go?

Ive got two IMA receiver 'rear' sections now. My front section from my kit is pretty bad and Ive been looking for one to replace it......so where the heck did they go? Re: Vendor warning!

No, nothing like that. I wanted it shipped directly to the guy who was helping me with the receiver so I wouldnt have to pay to ship it again. Im telling you, this woman has done everything possible to screw me on this sale. Dog only kows whatthis thing is gonna look like once I open it up.

Re: Vendor warning!

Just to bring this thing full circle, the vendor (reichsdeopt) screwed me AGAIN and shipped to my home of record and not where I VERY SPECIFICLY asked her to ship (on 2 different occasions.) So, she lied to me 3 times about the ship times. Was over a week late shipping. Gave me attitude and told me ...

Re: Restored Numbers

'froce matching' your parts set with a metal stamp will look silly because it wont look original. Whats the point, anyways? That weapon hasnt had matching serial numbers since about 1945.....besides its probably a mix of German an Izzy parts anyways. Now as far as the Izzy marks, removing them and r...
