Re: WTS/T: Russian Tiger Izhmash Dragunov

Thanks!

The Krink is a Russian clone. Stock, handguards, pistol grip and even the markings are all Russian. It's a 1984 Tula. I'll have to post some pics of it in one of the other forums.. :D

It has an illuminated reticle but the battery is dead. This Tiger has had a partial conversion to military spec. It has an SVD flashider w/o bay...

Anyway, on to the details.... It's a 1918 DWM with all matching numbers and no import mark. Pitted pretty much throug...

Re: What caused this bolt FAILURE?

Definitely not 308. It's marked just like any other Romanian cartridge I've fired through it.... I did find the primer at the range, but don't have it right now. It was pierced by the firing pin itself and of course blown out of the gun. What would have bent that rod though? That's what I don't get....

Re: What caused this bolt FAILURE?

Re: What caused this bolt FAILURE?

Ok, I'll answer as best I can.. Standard Romanian ammunition was being used in my semi auto MG42. It has a Pirate modified bolt and a wiselite arms gripstick. There was no obstruction inside the barrel. After I took the picture of the bullet still in the chamber I was looking for my steel rod that I...

What caused this bolt FAILURE?

I had no other damage to the weapon itself.. Just a little scared when my barrel door popped open and I see this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v602/MauserMatt/MG42/CIMG3562.jpg And this is the round: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v602/MauserMatt/MG42/CIMG3578.jpg And this is what I found wh...
